Jaared – Addiction

Jaared.
A ‘regular’ that I, & the players of The Urban Music Scene.com & others, once knew visiting a particular chatline often, came back to enlighten the jazz crowd one more time….

Recognized from the Marcus Johnson labeled “Three Keys”, jams the sax presence of Jaared. A very gifted & straightforward Brotha with enough noise, undercover, to make sure you do not skip a beat without checking in with him…first!

And with “Addiction”, his passion flows! The CD unleashes various R&B grooves, reflections of landscaped contemporary jazz memories, & flawless, at tentative composite melodies – all wrapped up in 11 tracks!

Track Listing:
~ Piccadilly Circus
~ That’s Alright
~ You Like Me Don’t You
~ Addiction
~ Crosswalk
~ Blinded by Delight
~ Cruisin’ The Strip
~ Jamaican Winds
~ Nights In Rio
~ Your Smile
~ Deuces Wild

And it don’t stop. Make sure you know about his discography before you fully apprehend this review…

Because this cat came to play! Everytime you check in, please make sure you groove the grooveline with “That’s Alright”. Much of ‘smooth jazz’ had its lasting effect on the melody, but make sure you hear ‘HIS’ sax play in it, before you make any judgment call – that’s all.; The harmony-background vocals laced with “You Like Me Don’t You” compliments the lead vocals. Nice!; “Addiction” will get you at the drum programming & possibly into the session.

Many more tracks will follow & lead into a well executed, sequenced product. The challenge & difference is this…

The only thing that will come standing out of this, otherwise, fine CD is the amount of simplicity to the many of his ‘easy’ compositions some jazz purists spend time wasting energy about. The ones’ people keep asking the difference between instrumental & smooth jazz music. Jaared is a very talented musician, a cat who doesn’t need extra paid attention about his skills. Especially with his consistence. Set aside those differences for once & please appreciate a collection of great tunes. Tunes that gratify the MUSICIAN AND HIS/HER FANBASE. Bottom line.

For I know Jaared has a great deal of fans behind him. And I, Terrill J. Hanna AKA JaSupreme (Thats Right!), will confirm his “Addiction”. Addiction to good music. Instrumental or Smooth, regardless how its classified.
