Debby Dobbins | Cool & Collected

Listen to “Fallin’ So In Love With You” from the ‘Cool & Collected’ Album on our New Voices of Today Page by clicking here!!

I really don’t know what Spirit Records and Bill Bradford has going on in Charlotte, but that sixty’s Motown styled groove is really working, and I think some of todays’ artists are starting to take notice. Just listen to R&B Shining Star Raphael Saddiq’s latest effort. It is not fair of me to compare but, I have reviewed two other projects produced by Bill Bradford, and he keeps the groove consistent & moving. This CD isn’t any different…

He has infused his signature style for soul stirring vocalist Debby Dobbins, whose newest effort “Cool and Collected”, is nothing less than brilliant.

She sings these songs as if she was there in that time period. Debby‘s vocal range is unimaginable, where in every song, she sings in a different key making it her own.

Debby has shared the stage with a such notable as Dizzy Gillespie and appeared on ‘Star Search’ where she sang her single, “Can’t Help This Feelin'”.
