Thank you so much for the kind words, Ms. Coleman. You have interfaced with two of the most accomplished yet humble West Cost masters of Music so my respect goes out to you as well.

I met Paul Jackson only once, years ago when he was working on “I Came to Play.” Aside from his obvious premiere talent as a musician….he was a gentleman and a scholar….with a wonderful sense of humor. I met Patrice Rushen, when I worked for Primus Robinson at Elektra/Asylum. She allowed my then middle school aged daughter, the distinct honor of recording an interview with her for a class assignment…She got an ‘A’! She was so gracious and kind; and we ALL know what she can do with those 88’s! The discography of the other stellar personnel definitely speaks volumes for them. I look forward to hearing this project….and you my man…..your commentaries/liner notes are so informative, interesting and educational. I am still enjoying your clever offering of words on the re-mastered “Super Fly” soundtrack. Keep it going….and God Bless You!
