Marc Antoine – Hi-Lo Split

marc Antoine - Hi-Lo SplitMarc Antoine | Hi-Lo Split By Terrill Hanna

The Guitarist from the exotic jazz journey returns….

From Madrid to Los Angeles, Mr. Marc Antoine still walks & grooves to the funky, bossa nova beat. His flow naturally comes off organic with an R&B interest. The title name to his new CD? It came from a victory shared at the card playing table. With that breath of excitement, he learned that winning on a ‘Hi-Lo Split’ easily meant winning with the highest & Lowest hand! Will his latest project “Hi-Lo Split” become a winners choice for you?

For absolute sure, Marc provides listeners with the same gratitude & feeling to jazz music as he did in the last 8 projects he created. There’s Funky R&B flavors, Latin Percussions & Brazilian Grooves throughout. But the question? Is it funky enough to make the purchase? Well let’s see:

“Groovin’ High” sets the standard for the project right off the back; “For A Smile” sends his palate for this track back to Madrid & to his son, Alejandro – an inspiration for the creation of this tune…; “Panacea” is a track co-written by Marc originally for The Old School jazz soundin’ band – The Greyboy All-Stars. This track should ignite your carnel interest; “Voodoo Doll” is downright funky, as well as, the bossa nova grooved “Bossalectro”.

He does slow it down for soft slow melodies in “Tomorrow” & “Cancun Blue”. Tracks that bring true essence of his ability to saturate the simplicity & reflection of the acoustic guitar in love ballads.

Marc has truly been blessed & satisfied with the reach of his audience & his journey in the music industry. Its evident in the music he shares & if you get time, please enjoy the listen to his new release. Also, check out the very 1st album he dropped called “Classical Soul”, which of course earned him an award as “Best New Artist Of the Year” from R&R magazine. You’ll find some old-school hip-hop grooves & original tracks to be recognized on it. His acid jazz work, especially back in the day with Guru’s Jazzmatazz, The Solsonics, Soul-II-Soul, George Benson & Take 6, will remind you & others of another breathtaking talent beneath the stars – flying high!

Or shall I say – “Groovin’ High”!

Check It.
