Fuzzy – Glad To Be
“Hold – On……Hold On….”, as “Fuzzy” flows!
A special deliverance comes specially packaged from a young African-American male, gifted to come & play in the gospel template: “Fuzzy”. Much more a name to address the AKA – not a shortcoming to his skills behind the microphone. Although in need to progress, this is a chance to follow a certain direction: Urban Gospel spoke to his soul & he came to share his admiration & story!
Straight from MCG Records & distributed from Central South INc., Mr. Lynn Taylor displays his writing skills, vocality & street credibility. Soulful & heartfelt, this album sounds more like a personal praise of worship rather than a showcase for commercialism. He sounds like he could add some building blocks for Urban R&B, but it didn’t completely rub off that way. Each selection of songs stays on the path of praise, of prayer & of trust!
The lead track & title CD – “Glad To Be” was a good choice for starters. It automatically identifies the remainder of the project. “I’m So Glad About It” is the same – fast & mellow, constructive; “My Soul” vibes the ambiance, channels high energy thoughts & go directly to a favorite: “He Will Take Care Of U”; “Shake It Off” was bangin’!! Try it, you’ll see! Oops, did I speak it like a R&B/Hip-Hop reviewer, or is it the truth: Urban Gospel is Bangin’!!
