The 3rd release in a series “Secret Journey” is a collaboration with Gregg Karukas formerly of the Rippingtons. This set brings a unique blend of middle eastern rhythms and Latin-styled acoustic guitar sounds. Omar Akram and Greg Karukas have assembled a cadre of world renown jazz musicians to carefully interweave acoustic grand piano with acoustic guitar, violin, duduk, flute and ethnic percussions.
You’ll definitely want to grab a good read and a beverage of choice as this soundtrack takes you on a flight to a faraway place. Very Relaxing to listen to after a long day! Eastern spice meets cool jazz.
