You know how jazz artists like to cover an old school track on their cd, well what if there was a cd with nothing but old school covers. That is what Ben Dye has done,

His “Rhythm’ n’ Jazz – Dance The Night Away” cd is just that and he has covered some old school songs no one else would dare try.

Not that many artists would try to cover tracks like these. Ben gives all these songs a jazzy/funk vibe of their own. Ben was digging in the crates, pulled out twelve rough diamonds, cut and buffed them into the smoothness that you will hear on this collection.

Ben keeps to the basic feel of each song, then adds his own unique flavor to the songs. We’ve been listening to these cuts for years, and knowing each song is a classic in it’s own right.

Ben’s sax playing is in perfection on these songs and allows these tracks to breathe on it’s own. So if your not singing the lyrics or dancing by the time you get to track 12, hit the repeat button. And don’t think I didn’t submit my choices for volume 2.
