Euge Groove – Born To Groove

Born 2 Groove

The Saxophone is arguably the smoothest and romantic instrument in the jazz world. Unfortunately the industry has become inundated with artists trying to compete in a saturated genre. In addition to that, in the so-called ‘Smooth-Contemporary’ style of play, very few artists are readily distinguishable from one to the other. There are those that can make such an impact, that it can place them in a highly popularized position…

Euge Groove has done what it takes to catapult himself into this limelight. With the 5th album in seven years alongside producer Paul Brown, “Born 2 Groove”, is blowin’ up the charts! Euge Groove has put together a collection of grooves that blend together like a glass of Rum & Coke!

He expresses his sensitive side with a slow jam entitled “I Love You More Than You’ll Ever Know”, and flows right into the R&B/Gospel flow “Café del Soul” and “Religify” without missing a beat.

Euge has surrounded himself with a talented cast of band members as well as some old school vocals. It features Jeffrey Osborne and former Temptation lead singer Ali “Ollie” Woodson, who of course, perform on two tracks to the project.

This is one of those rare CD’s that groove you from the first track to last! I toast that Rum & Coke, on behalf of Mr. ‘Groove’……TO YOU!
