Peabo Bryson – Missing You

The simplicity of a love ballad. That’s all it takes for Peabo to do in order to show the world of R&B lovers out there that when he walks onto the stage, stands before the microphone & begins to lift his voice & sing – Watch Out!

“Missing You” is the return of Legendary Crooner Peabo Bryson! Ladies & Gents, be prepared!

Actually after listening to this project in its entirety, the album title cover should reflect us ‘Missing Him’! After all of these years, he has not missed a step in anyway a song presents itself. As the way a song should stand, his voice carries the composition. Nothing fancy about the way it flows, except his added tonality & dramatic feel to slow ballads can widely be felt. If anything, you’ll be encouraged to pull out some previous albums from Mr. Bryson & play them back, right alongside this one!

Track Listing:
~ Heavenly
~ Count On Me
~ Waiting For Tomorrow
~ I Promise I Do
~ Missing You
~ To Love About
~ Don’t Make Me Cry
~ 10,000 Reasons
~ Don’t Give Your Heart
~ I Try
~ My Last Goodbye

“Heavenly” starts out gracefully & seductive. R&B at its finest!;  “I Try” brings in the sax solo intro often left out of todays’ R&B. Then it swoons you into a beautiful slow jam, courtesy of course of you know who; “10,000 Reasons” is one of the very few songs on this project that picks it up a little, into a mid-tempo. With a little help from his backgrounds singers, this one sounds real good! The rest of the album belongs to the slow jam department! Isn’t that Peabo Bryson is good for?

And that’s exactly how it should be. I couldn’t imagine it to go any other way, except having a loved one appreciate the melodies right along with you. I also believe many old schoolers out there will find this one exceptional. After all of these years, the cat still has it goin’ on!!

Chillin’ Hard!
