After hearing of this soul balladeers fight back from his recent illness, you will be astonished to believe that Will hasn’t lost a step, but rather came more enigmatic than ever before! In a recent interview with him, he suggested, “Sit back & let me take care of the evening for you”.

He didn’t slouch from that point out!

“Fantasy (Spending Time With You)” scrolls the drifting measure of R&B mid-tempo melody & a hookline that’s sure to stay on you remind after listening; “After Tonight” may surprise many by not going into a slow, slow tempo, but rather into a cha-cha connection for two; Gerald Albright brought back the distant memory of when Will & himself came together to launch a duet album many years ago in “No One Can Love You More”. This track will stick to you!; 

Legendary vibist Roy Ayers picks up the groove, right from his opening solo on “Lover’s Delight” & takes you there with him!; When Kirk came to give his side of the sax story on both “All I Need Is You” & “You Just Can’t Smile It Away”, it will not take you long to yearn for the intro baritone voice of Will Downing to come in also to accommodate!

The Remix of “After Tonight” (Between The Sheets) was tight!! It got the repeat button!

But in a matter of grace & testimony, Will’s rendition of “God Is So Amazing” was the track to trace & keep on standby! It ended up being one of my favorite tracks on the CD & foretells how much God played a part in Will’s healing & bountiful return to the microphone. God is SO amazing!!

R&B lovers will enjoy this one. Let’s continue to pray that Will be back to bring us more flavor, go on tour again & to enlighten us with beautiful music to play in & around the midnight hour…
