Trin-I-Tee 5:7 – 5T7

The 3 Ladies that make up Trin-I-Tee 5:7 – Angel, Chanelle & Adrian, continues to rise & shine for their new release “5T7”. This project features some work from the likes of Matthew Knowles, The Bama Boyz, Walter W. Millsap including a track written by R. Kelly (U Saved Me) & much more. Word had it through their liner notes, that they almost got impacted by the Hurricane Katrina that swept through New Orleans & abroad. Its in their testimony & praise report that the mighty Lord saw them through to complete their vision for this project!!

Well executed & produced, nothing is much more missed from yours truly. “Listen” kicks off the project with direct praise music for the soul at need!; “I Need You” lends a friendly reminder to look to the Lord for help over earthly, materialistic options.; Slowing down the musical vibe comes “I Will Lift”, the exact way to raise your praise worship up to his heavenly glory.; John Broussard comes in with an acoustic guitar backdrop to introduce “Love”, a mid-tempo delight not needing to go any further where the title of the song suggests.; “Soul Is Anchored” feat. The Pastor Rudy Experience, (vocals provided) gives foundation to the album overall & I quickly felt this one!

“You Saved Me”, written by R. Kelly was another gem in the waiting. My favorite track with the repeat button went to “Like U”, produced by D.J. Static & Solange Knowles. It contains a sample from Richard Smallwood & its possibly the reason why I dug it.

The ladies still shined like never before & its another testament to their career for maintaining their consistency in the Gospel Music world. I believe this album will be a blessing to those who hear it…
