Earth, Wind & Fire – Live In Japan (DVD/CD)

How can I ever come close to re-introducing this ultimate, energetic, stage presentful glamor of THE finest & most appealing bands on the planet?

How can I remind most folks already made aware of the band’s leader Maurice White & lead singer Philip Bailey? Along with the line-up….the rest of the true players of instruments who came to play at EVERY concert, EVERY event, EVERY stage show that ever hit the circuit?

No Matter WHERE THEY ARE?

Even if it mattered to be far away in countries like Japan? What. You possibly didn’t think JAPAN would come & represent Earth, Wind & Fire when they came to dazzle the Tokyo Dome back in 1990?

Well, it would only be fitting to let Eagle Rock Entertainment take you there just like they took me & the rest of our crew from The Urban Music Scene!!! We didn’t drop the DVD Giveaway on y’all for nothing right?

It doesn’t come any better than this folks. Especially after numerous E.W.F. DVD’s are already in print & for sale. The group almost released just as many DVD’s from their collections in comparison to their whole record catalog! (I’m exaggerating of course, but I am not too far off am I?)

The greatest hits of Earth, Wind & Fire amazed me at a special time when I dropped it on my Family & Friends right directly after the China Olympic games of 2008! The DVD was so exciting that we noticed a few extra names being slipped into our giveaway a few weeks later! How Funny!

But overall, nothing beats going back to the Old School vibe & cold diggin’ how the original players of E.W.F. handled their stage gifts with delivering powerful recollections of “Fantasy”, “After The Love Is Gone”, “September”, “Let’s Groove” & the Love Anthem, “Reasons” (More about this cut later…).

Track Listing:
~ System Of Survival
~ Getaway
~ September
~ Fantasy
~ Shining Star
~ Kalimba Tree
~ After The Love Is Gone
~ For The Love Of You
~ Reasons
~ Brazilian Rhyme
~ Let’s Groove
~ That’s The Way Of The World

Then to replay it all over again through your 5.1 Surround or DTS playback DVD player. Its 89 minutes of pure music & the fan appreciation rests on the simple accord of E.W.F. just simply doing their thang! And I do own several other projects on DVD by them. If I had to rate this one against the many, it would be too hard to compare & judge. I guess in the end, it doesn’t matter. Especially after reading the extraordinary thoughts given from writer David Nathan aka “The British Ambassador Of Soul” for the liner notes!

Only the die-hard fans of E.W.F. would not care for the comparison. All of you shouldn’t I.M.O., Just to see legends like them from the 80’s/90’s period live & also to re-live those moments again, would only become priceless!
