April Hill | Love 360

April Hill
is a Former Goldman-Sachs employee that is setting the radio-waves on fire. Her debut cd “Love 360” is all that and the” Cheesecake factory”…yeah..it’s that good. But first let me give kudos to Marlon Saunders and Shawn Lucas for putting together some of the tightest music to date. As of right now they are the next Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.

April’s cd boasts a barrage of songs in the vein of r&b, jazz, & spoken word – all rolled up into one special project.

1. “The Search” starts off with this bass and drums beat, then the keys come in, then April’s voice just resonates of the beats

2. “Feeling You” is a warm sensuous song.

3. “You Got Me” is a jazzy soul, April is telling her man that “they’re just admiring your taste”.

4. “I Wanna Be Free” is a mid-tempo groove, that should get your head rocking back and forth.

5. “I Want You” I love this version of Marvin Gaye’s song, April sings this song with heartfelt passion.

6. “I Hope She’ll Be Happier”. April does a mesmerizing cover of this Bill Withers song.

7. “Manipulation”. April is telling you that she is not to be messed with, cause she will get even.

8. “I Can’t Stop Loving You” is another warm and sensuous song.

9. “Today” is a nice little jazzy/spoken word song, telling her man she is leaving, but wants him to know that it’s the little things that count.

10. “No More Tears”. April felt like she wanted to get her old school disco on, and does exactly that with this 80’s infused groove.

This cd will have you hitting the repeat button over and over. It’s like a breath of fresh air. To know that real music, real r&b is back.  Marlon and Shawn does a wonderful job, not over producing this project, but not letting April go out of her range.
