Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” (Movie Review)

Michael Jackson – Artist, Innovator, Dancer, Poet, Musician, Choreographer, Actor, the Consummate Entertainer, The King of Pop. This movie is phenomenal. When you see this movie and I advise all of you to see it, you’ll see a Michael Jackson perfecting what is already perfected. Taking it to another level the only way he can. From the interactions with the musicians, dancers and crew, Michael is involved in every aspect of this movie. A lot of people say he is thin and frail. Well Mike has always been thin but never frail. He takes everybody on an adventure of what would have been in my opinion the greatest concert ever produced.

From the very beginning, Mike commands your attention and holds that attention to the end, and yes I am man enough to say I teared up at the point in the movie when he sang “I’ll be there”. But he sang it like you never heard it before, with deep hearted passion and love, conveying yes I will be there, when you need me. The whole movie is off the hook, it interacts with video that has been shot for especially for this movie, The ‘Smooth Criminal’ segment is just so sweet… just the way the did it. When he sang “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You” with background singer Judith Hill,…. passion, pure passion!

In the end, you will witness Michael’s genius in putting this show together. Not just for him, but YOU – the fans, the world all over. As of this writing “This Is It“ has already garnered over $20 milllion dollars. I expect to see many awards and accolades for this film.

This movie is for everybody: Young, Old, doesn’t matter what race you are, Michael Jackson was for everybody world wide.
