“People Get Ready” for Melinda Watts, the Gospel Dream 2008 Winner! Here’s to another great show that showcases the undiscovered talents of everyday people.

What a powerful CD! It’s dynamic, inspirational and uplifting. While you’re enjoying the up-tempo tracks, Say Yes, Happy and People Get Ready, you’re also receiving a deep spiritual message.

There Will Come A Day, Available To You – feat. J. Moss and People Get Ready, are just a few of my favorite songs on this CD. All the tracks are phenomenal. They will definitely move you and touch your soul in more ways than one. However, There Will Come A Day is so powerful that it moved me to tears. For example, There’s a part in the song where she says “There’s a better place, where our father waits and every tear, he’ll wipe away, the darkness will be gone, the weak shall be strong, hold on to your faith, there will come a day”. ALRIGHT!!

The duet with J. Moss on Available To You is outstanding! J. Moss is doing his thing while complimenting the beautiful vocals of Melinda. The song is very personal and passionate. You can feel the love and praise pouring out onto the tracks as they ask God to use them to show others the way. She came bold with Come Boldly. Melinda lets you know that nothing will keep her from Jesus. This reminds me of the movie The Color Purple when Mister throws Nettie out of his house, and she screams out, “Nothing But Death Will Keep Me From Her!” That was powerful and heart felt and so is this track.

Melinda’s contemporary style and unique vocals has a steady flow that allows you to really get into her spirit and into her music. This CD is phenomenal and well put together. I can’t stop playing it. It’s that good!!
